My mother became a documentary film make

as I was transforming into a terrible teenager.

With a brave heart, she uprooted my brother

and me from the States and moved our little family

to Kenya when I was 14.  It was on the long safaris

my mother brought us along on, in the middle

of no man's land, that my mother threw a camera at me and said, "go photograph".

Running with tribal children, I started capturing

their wild beautiful spirits with my camera and thus began my obsession with photography.

Today I live in Aspen, Colorado and continue my

passion with portraiture. I

freeze unique moments in a person's world: tears, laughter, true emotion, and it is in these moments that I capture

memories that will last a lifetime.

I look forward to working with you and your family.
